he goes by the name of Q-Nice...
a few years later he met a young, ambitious artist who had an "amazing eye" for performance portraiture...
that ambition still resides in me to this very day...
nevertheless, I recently felt that an homage to 'The Vibe Session' is long overdue...
the wonderful, ecclectic, open-minded people that I have met as a result of this movement have played a tremendous role in my inspiration and creativity as a photographer...
those of you reading this can imagine how long that list of people must be...Y'ALL KNOW WHO Y'ALL ARE!
the movement that is 'The Vibe Session' is still in effect today at the historic Karamu House on E. 89th & Quincy...
it takes place every 3rd Sunday of the month (the next one is July 19)...
